1. Always wait for all golfers to hit their balls onto the green before removing the flag stick.
2. Remove and replace the flag stick carefully so as not to damage the hole's edges.
3. Place flag gently on the ground and preferably on the fringe as not to damage the green surface.
4. If a player requests to have the flag in the hole while putting, hold the flag and the stick as not to allow the flag to blow in the wind. Also while holding the flag make sure your shadow does not cover the hole or fall across the target line of the upcoming putt.
