This golf course is really fun to play. It has many good holes presenting appropriate challange to a golfer of my ability. I found that I used most of the clubs in my bag which is not something that happens often on public courses.

Although the practice area is well maintained the practice green had many large breaks and as such it was difficult to practice lag putting. Further, it became apparant very quickly once our round began that there were no other greens on the course similar to the putting green.

For the money, one of the best values in the Greater Toronto Area. Check out their website (http://www.guelphlakesgolf.ca) for green fee specials. Overall, the course was very well maintained with very friendly service.

Best Hole: 8 (par 4)
Why: Very challenging long par 4. Takes two excellent shots to have a chance at making par.
