This is what golf is all about! Looking up and seeing the peak at 7,000 feet is absolutely amazing!

Overall the course was better than average but just barely. The mountains made this experience totally worthwhile. The spectacular view will keep me coming back - especially for the price. Super deal!

A must play if you are in the area for the price and the scenery.

Editor's note: Pemberton Valley G.C. management indicates that since this reviewer played the course in September 2000 a number of improvements have been completed. The completion of a new clubhouse and proshop among the most notable. On the course itself, the club has instituted better turf management programs resulting in an upgrade of the course to the point that the greens have been consistently rated among the "best in the Pacific Northwest". Unfortunately, these changes do not come cheap as green fees have been increased to reflect the improvements: $50 weekday and $70 weekends. Both these prices exclude power carts which cost $28.
